The Japan Times Releases iPhone Apps for Japanese Language Learning

As the first outcome of their business partnership announced May 12, 2009, The Japan Times (“JT”) and Land Rush Group (“LRG”) have released iPhone applications for Japanese language learning on July 30, 2009.
The primary purpose of these applications is to both promote JT’s brand and increase JT’s revenues from overseas. Please see below for more details.

3. Features: Learn Hiragana and Katakana anywhere, anytime using an iPhone . Aside from being able to choose the variation of HIragana or Katakana you want to learn, you can also choose multiple choice mode, flashcard mode, direct entry mode, and other options.
4.Availability: Available worldwide on Apple’s App Store
The Japan Times and Land Rush Group will follow up with more iPhone applications such as for learning Kanji and expand the online product lineup.
